Did you know we have an area in the library with books for sale year-round? Our team of dedicated volunteers is refreshing our shelves every week with book bargains as well as book themed décor. The team has added a “seasonal” area which rotates every month, as well as book bundles and more. Watch the Friends website Events page for a new sign and ribbon cutting event coming soon. If you don't see a price tag on a book, you can assume that it's either $1 (for hardcover) or $0.50 (for a paperback). And did we mention all of the cool vintage fantasy and sci-fi paperbacks that often come through? So cool! Book blossoms are $2 each and books marked "Blind date with a book" and book bundles are $5
We have a variety of genres available including contemporary fiction, mysteries, classics/vintage, sci-fi/fantasy, cookbooks, nonfiction, and even children’s books. With such great prices, you can come in and treat yourself to a “new to you” book for a fraction of the original cost! Payment can be made with cash or check in the convenient wooden box located in the bookshop area. We’re located on the left side of the library past the circulation desk. Drop in to browse and watch as the store continues to transform in the months ahead.
In addition to the excellent priced new-to-you books of multiple genres, including fiction, biography, history, vintage, classics, cookbooks and a wonderful selection of children's books, the Friends bookshop also offers some timely titles in March for Women's History Month.

The Friends of PPL is crucial to supporting our library and is entirely run by volunteers. If you're interested in what the Friends do, how you might be able to help, and how you can get involved, some Friends will be available to talk by the library entrance March 18-20 and again on April 11.
